About OnBoard
OnBoard is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization seeking to increase the number of women in executive leadership and on corporate boards, and founding member of ION. OnBoard is a pioneer in its data-driven approach to advocating for women in the boardroom; since 1993 OnBoard’s Annual Study has tracked female representation on Georgia corporate boards, reporting on year-over-year status and major trends for three decades.
Today, OnBoard maintains a robust membership base of 600 business leaders, facilitates curated executive training for board-seeking women, and connects qualified women with board opportunities.
Driven by findings from the Annual Study, OnBoard’s programs and initiatives create meaningful opportunities for women at any stage of their careers. Tiered membership, tailored events, and programs like OnBoard Accelerator (C-suite), OnBoard Ignite (mid-career), and Next OnBoard (early-to-mid-career) provide women with a peer-to-peer network and the tools to advance throughout their professional life. Two annual award initiatives, the OnBoard Excellence Award and Lettie Pate Whitehead Evans Award, recognize female trailblazers who exemplify the path to board leadership, inspiring other women to follow suit.
